Digg was hunting down script users, but they kicked it up a notch and went on a banning spree. I got banned too. I thought scripts were okay because MrBabyMan was using scripts and he didn’t get in trouble.

Well I started calling Digg communist because they weren’t treating people equally. But, then I kept thinking until my head started hurting and I asked myself “are they really communist or are they just… retards?”

I get it that Digg is trying to make it a better place, but this just doesn’t seem right. You ever heard of this “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer”? Isn’t Digg bringing in more of the same old domination? Now what’s left is the really strong ones (aka diggtators) and the really, really weak ones because they kicked out most of the “mid-level” guys.

And there are some scripts that won’t show up on the radar. What about them? And what if we just change the script to digg one submission per minute when we click the “Digg all” button? That will make it almost impossible for the Digg staff to find the script users.

Plus isn’t this bad for their rep because they’re just showing everyone how much of a fag they can be? Aren’t they just scaring the weak, little average diggers? Man I would be digging as slow as I can if I were a newbie. Like what if they banned me for digging too fast?

The Digg staff is just acting like a bunch of kids. You don’t just do whatever pops up in your head. You need to think about it first. Seriously stop acting all big and tough. Well anyways, its time for the million dollar anwser! So, is Digg a retard of a communist? Both! They’re a retarded commie. But wait! Lets have a little poll here:

<a href =”http://answers.polldaddy.com/poll/937539/” >What do you think Digg is?</a> <br /> <span style=”font-size:9px;” mce_style=”font-size:9px;”> (<a href =”http://www.polldaddy.com”> polls</a>)</span>

Are “social sites” like music? Yes, I’m asking YOU.

By social sites, I mean social networks, social news, social bookmarking, micro-blogging, etc. I’ve been thinking and that question just popped up. Well lets try to find an answer.

When a song gets pretty popular, what do we do? We play it on the radio, listen to over and over again, tell our friends about it and listen to it a few more times. The band (or the singer) is glad that everything’s going perfectly and the album was a great success. But, what happens after a few weeks or maybe months? Doesn’t the song feel overplayed? Don’t we get sick and tired of it? Don’t we start to hate the song? Don’t we just move on?

Are you starting to figure out why I’m comparing these? I personally would say that social sites are a lot like music. They’re both fads. But, know what? Music is actually a lot better than social sites. I don’t know if I can call music a fad because we do move on after a song (or the album) gets overplayed, but we also go back to it after some time. Whether its months, years or decades.

But, what about social sites? Do you think we will ever go back to an old site? Do you think you’ll ever go back to a site that was once popular years ago? Do you think we’ll start using it again because it once had cool features? Music lives forever. Want an example? How about Led Zepplin?

Remember MySpace? Friendster? Do you think you’ll go back to use them? They were once really, really popular. Well MySpace still is, but Facebook took over. Plus I would say that Facebook is also going a bit dead. Like when it first went popular, people at school were talking about and were like going crazy about it. Now, no one even mentions it. They still use it, but its not that cool anymore.

Sucks to be a social site. They’re like toys. You play with it, get bored, throw it away and start playing with a new one.

There are tons of social networks out there. Its hard to choose which one we should use. Some friends use this, others use that, bla bla blah. Well there’s a new site to fix that problem. Its called Ping.fm.

Ping.fm allows you to update all your social networks at once. Yesterday I just joined both Twitter and Plurk. I was totally onced. I didn’t know which one I should use. Both of them looked awesome. Now Ping.fm solved the problem for me.

Things you can update with Ping.fm:

Bebo

Blogger

Brightkite

Facebook

FriendFeed

Hi5

Identi.ca

Jaiku

kwippy

LinkedIn

LiveJournal

Mashable

MySpace

Plaxo Pulse

Plurk

Pownce

Tumblr

Twitter

WordPress.com

Xanga

They’ve got all the social networks covered. I just started using Ping.fm and I simply love it! They made it easy to post to different social networks by breaking them down into 3 groups: blogging, micro-blogging & updates. You can use AIM, GTalk, iGoogle, WAP, iPhone/iPod Touch, SMS or email to update.

This site is just amazing. What a great idea! I’m sure this is going to be the hot cake once its out of private beta. BTW, I got the beta code for you guys.

Want the beta code? Its “pingscompany“. Have fun and tell us what you think of it.
